In your new role you will:
- Enhance and improve existing automation scripts within a professional SW development environment
- Use automation servers like Jenkins (primarily) and GitLab with build agents in and outside remote compute farms
- Support with pathfinding and exploration of different solutions to find the most suitable for every use-case
- Contribute to improve our development environment and flow
Type of employment: Temporary/Full-time or Part-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Basics about automation server , e.g. Jenkins , GitLab , Azure DevOps
- Experience in Unix Shell-Script , e.g. tcsh, bash
- Experience using version control systems like git (primarily) and ClearCase
- Experience using Python (primarily), Groovy and Perl
- Basics in writing technical documents
- Pro-active communication skills
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf).
